The International Cinderella Scholarship Program, founded in 1976, has grown into the largest and most prestigious scholarship oriented pageant system of its kind in the world. Throughout its 40 year history Cinderella has championed the need and value of higher education for women and has promoted that goal by awarding millions of dollars in cash college scholarships to young women from the United States and a host of foreign countries. Cinderella is based on a 3 tiered system of competitions. Participants start out on the Local level and based on their performance can advance to the State level of competition (or national level for foreign countries) and then proceed to the final level of competition, the International Pageant. The numbers at Internationals are large creating great competition for all State representatives. At the 2021 International pageant there were over 310 contestants making memories together!

State Director

Taryn Sharp

I am proud to be the new Oregon State Director! I grew up doing Cinderella from the age of 5 and made many memories. I won Nevada State Beauty twice and placed in top ten at Internationals. As a singer I took several talent titles including Cover Girl and Photogenic. Later, I signed a modeling contract with Matthews and Powell of London. I treasure all the memories!

My background is in vocals, cheer, dance and modeling. I've been a High School cheerleading coach and judged pageants along the way. My passions include volunteering in the community and with the elderly. Professionally, I am a paralegal when I'm not working on the fun for Cinderella.

I truly believe in the program. I've learned so many life skills throughout the pageant that have helped me professionally and personally. It gave me confidence to pursue my dreams.

I look forward to meeting you as we start this journey together!
